Okay ... THE AFTERPARTY!! *Rescheduled*
Saturday night at 9pm Eastern(US). There will be a Team Time-Attack at Tsukuba. Contestants will compete for the LOWEST-COMBINED-BEST-LAP. The rules are as follows:
1. PI will be 900 or less
2. Cars must be REGULAR production models. (No Do-Luck-anything, no Amemiyas, no Hypermax Evos, etc.)
3. Each contestant will have 10 (TEN) laps to turn their best lap time. Contestants are permitted a "Warm-up Lap," to green their tires, as well as to gain speed for the front stretch.
4. ANY mods are legal
5. Tires and fuel are NOT infinate. Use strategy :)
6. Collisions will be on, for photo/video purposes. Therefore, contestants awaiting their turn will be single-file, as close as possible to the inside wall of the Dunlop Tire turn. That should keep everyone out of the way.
7. In addition to rule 6, No burnouts while waiting in line. Some of us don't get good connection to each other, and the last guy in line doesn't need to shoot through the whole line at 500 mph because of a lag spike. While waiting, either hold your brakes, or do nothing please.
8. Violators of rules 6 and 7 will be booted.
The winners receive a PAIR of Subaru WRX Sti's (Rated 900 PI) tuned by Evans Motorsports. Hope to see you there!!!

This evening four teams met up at the small Tsukuba Circuit to compete for the lowest, combined lap time, AND a set of 2004 Subaru Sti's tuned by EM. Due to an incomplete roster, slots became first-come, first-served. Evans Motrosports' own Operator, Hand of Blood, and Drift Media took a break from drifting, and hopped behind the wheels of racing-slicked circuit cars. From the FMGTC, MasterSmite0wpi brought his A game, as well as an Evo that tore up Tsukuba, turning the best lap of the night. Responding to Operator's pavement-pounding, last-minute advertising scheme, Dewstain paid us a visit. Other drivers soon followed, and before we knew it, we had ourselves a race...
The Lancers ruled the day, owning the top two times. But, it was the Blue Team taking home the twin Subarus. MasterSmite walked away with the yellow 01 car, while cheeto was awarded the orange 02 car. ( Cheeto...orange...it was meant to be )
*I should also mention there was a problem getting footage this week. But fear not, next time will be DIFFERENT!
